Made of Plastic (just recycle)

Plastic are highest rated pollutant that cannot be banned. So all we can do is recycle the plastic at home by converting it into a decorative item.
USED PLASTIC

There are around 91% of the plastic in this earth that are not recycled. So every effort should be made to make use of plastic without causing pollution to the atmosphere. The recycling make it from home without waiting for all the work be done by the government.

Start recycling and start planting samplings just by converting your used plastic bottles to a plant pots.
All you have to do is just fill the used plastic bottles or container with mixture of mud and organic waste. Make some pores at the bottom of bottle to allow the extra water to flow out and increase breath-ability of the soil and water them every day. We can make it look more attractive and fancy by following the below steps.

Plastic bottle to plant pot

Materials required:
1. Waste Plastic container
2. Knife
3. Mud
4. Sampling

Steps to follow:
Cut the bottle into 2 half.
In the bottom half of the cut bottle, a window is cut open as shown below.

Fill the cut bottle with soil and plant a sampling.

Make small hole at the bottom to bottle to allow the extra water to flow down.

Organic face and body scrub (just go Besan)

Heading 1

heading 2

Gram flour or Channa dal or besan is an organic product that is available all time on our kitchen shelves. The use of basin is just not for making tasty crispy recipes, but also for cleansing body. Not just that it can also be used for hair wash.

Besan or Chickpea is cicer arietinum linn which consists of proteins and carbohydrates. Chickpea contains unsaturated fatty acids like linoleic and oleic acid.

Oleic acid (OA) has the property to increase the ability of the skins to allow gases or liquids to go through and act selectively on the extracellular lipids representing the principal regulatory channel for the penetration of small molecules.  Even minute amounts of oleic acid are sufficient to cause local (i.e. inside the viable epidermis) modulation of cytokine production.

Linoleic acid are mostly used essential fatty acid for skin care products, as it prevents many disorders, and it reduces the water loss and increases skin moistness.

Besan contains both Linoleic acid and Oleic acid which is suitable for both oily and dry skin. Hence it can be used by everyone.

Along with besan the use of turmeric and curd can be used to enhance facial effect. One cup of besan, half a cup of curd, and half tea spoon of turmeric is all you need for face pack that will give a glowing your skin.

Dishwasher (just go ash)

Wood Ash (calcium carbonate)

As the world is going towards the traditional way of living life, the products sold in market are also attracting the customers in the name of organic products.

As the use of fire-wood cooking is long gone, the availability and use of the wood ash is rarely seen including the rural regions. In the village the people used to cook their daily meal in the fire wood and pots. The ash leftover were used to wash the dishes.

The chemical composition of wood ash is calcium carbonate. All your dishwashers used on your day to day life contains calcium carbonate as the main ingredient for washing dish. Greasy stains such as oil, butter, over burnt food stains, etc. are all surface agents which require surfactants to act on it. As wood ash (natural calcium carbonate) are chemically having water-soluble tail and oil-soluble head.

From the above picture we can find that the surfactants contact with the dirt on the surface and the tail part gets attracted together and form pellet. In this manner the ash acts as a cleanser (dish washer, oil stain remover, oil absorbents, etc.).

Many research is done on micro and Nano particle of calcium carbonate. The study also showed that in a lesser amount of surfactant region, the calcium carbonate surface will become lesser attractive to water and as the amount of surfactant is more, the attraction of like regions are reduced. This is because the single layer of surfactant molecules which is formed on the surface. When the amount of surfactant is increased the monolayer saturated with surfactant molecules that becomes from lesser water attractive molecule to more water attractive molecule by converting single layer surfactant to 2-layer of surfactant that lets the dirt to get separated from the vessels surface.

The above scientific explanation helps in understanding how ash removes stains from the surface.

Apart from wood ash the combination with sand, tamarind, rock salt, etc. can be used to remove tough stains. So forget doing research on which soap to shop for removal of tough stains.

All you have to do is just get some wood ash and scrubber to see the magic done on your vessels that shine every day.
